Hanging Rock was named for this rock that hangs between two others. At the top of the climb are idealic views of the Macedon Valley below. (It reminded me of Happy Valley in Mickey and the Beanstalk ... so peaceful, so beautiful.)

Climbing Hanging Rock - Day 4
Hanging Rock was named for this rock that hangs between two others. At the top of the climb are idealic views of the Macedon Valley below. (It reminded me of Happy Valley in Mickey and the Beanstalk ... so peaceful, so beautiful.)
Kangaroos at Hanging Rock Reserve - Day 4
Hanging Rock Reserve is a park with Basalt Rock formations formed from old volcanic activity. When we got to the park we saw these picnickers with unexpected visitors! They said they thought a group of children were running up to their blanket, but when they looked up they were kangaroos (pretty rare for them to come up to people.) The roo didn't move from the blanket until she moved the picnic basket.
